Surau FC have been crowned INDOLEAGUE 2025 Champions after defeating Komo FC 4 to 2 in the Grand Final at Strathfield Park Synthetic.
After a long season full of drama, rivalries, and unforgettable matches, Surau FC finished the campaign on top when it mattered most. Their Grand Final performance capped off a strong finals run and confirmed their place as the 2025 champions.
Surau FC started the match strongly, with Jamie Gani opening the scoring in the 9th minute. Omer Gebril doubled the lead in the 17th minute before Rayan Hijazi took control late in the first half with goals in the 37th and 40th minutes.
At halftime, Surau FC led 4 to 0.
Komo FC refused to give up and fought back in the second half. Mikaa’il Moegsien Martin scored in the 58th minute to make it 4 to 1 before Kaan Nizam added another in the 80th minute. Despite the late push, Surau FC held firm and secured a deserved 4 to 2 victory.
The result means Surau FC finish the season as INDOLEAGUE 2025 Champions, while Komo FC finish as runners-up after an impressive campaign of their own.
Komo FC can hold their heads high after reaching the Grand Final and pushing through a competitive finals series. Their young attacking group, led by players such as Kaan Nizam, showed the quality and spirit that made them one of the standout teams of the season.
For Surau FC, this title is a statement of experience, belief, and resilience. After building momentum throughout the year, they delivered on the biggest day of the season and claimed the championship in front of the INDOLEAGUE community.
PS Kota Sydney Secure Third Place With Big Win Over IQRO FC
Earlier in the day, PS Kota Sydney secured third place with a commanding 8 to 1 victory over Premiers IQRO FC.
Noah Juma Ravel produced a standout performance, scoring three goals in the 6th, 10th, and 19th minutes to give PS Kota Sydney a flying start. IQRO FC responded through Hussain Shakib in the 24th minute, but PS Kota Sydney continued to dominate the scoreboard.
Joshua Keane scored in the 25th minute before halftime, giving PS Kota Sydney a 4 to 1 lead at the break.
In the second half, PS Kota Sydney added four more goals through Ida Bagus Bagus Praptha in the 46th minute, Delah Gomasi-Zumavor in the 55th minute, Nelson Chen in the 57th minute, and Jose Ribeiro in the 58th minute.
The result confirmed PS Kota Sydney as the third placed team in INDOLEAGUE 2025, while IQRO FC finished fourth after an outstanding regular season where they had already secured the Premiership.
