As the INDOLEAGUE 2025 regular season reaches its final weekend, the storylines could not be more compelling. The champions have been crowned, the top four remain in flux, and one final Sunday at Strathfield Park will decide who advances to the finals.
IQRO FC Crowned 2025 Premiers
IQRO FC have officially sealed the INDOLEAGUE 2025 Premiership title with one round remaining, after a thrilling 3–2 victory over PS Kota Sydney in Round 6.
PS Kota Sydney started with intent, taking an early lead through Noah Juma Ravel. Naazil Khan equalised in the 17th minute, and Hussain Shakib put IQRO FC ahead before halftime.
In the second half, José Ribeiro levelled the score for PS Kota Sydney, but Avisai Vunisasaro restored IQRO’s advantage in the 65th minute. The result sealed all three points and confirmed their Premiership triumph.
The win maintained IQRO’s perfect record: six victories from six matches, 25 goals scored and only seven conceded. With 18 points, they are mathematically uncatchable. Their combination of tactical precision, consistency, and chemistry has set a new benchmark for quality in the competition.
The Battle for the Finals
Behind the champions, the race for the remaining finals spots is wide open. PS Kota Sydney and Surau FC both sit on 12 points, while Komo FC (10 points) and Batavia SC (8 points) are still alive.
Surau FC, even after a one-point deduction earlier in the season, are well placed to secure qualification. A draw or win against Batavia SC on Sunday should confirm their place, though they will want nothing less than victory.
Komo FC and PS Kota Sydney face off in what could be the match of the round. A Komo win would see them secure the top four, while PS Kota look to finish strong and build momentum ahead of the semifinals.
Batavia SC must beat Surau and hope other results go their way to stay in contention. Every result will carry heavy consequences as teams battle to extend their seasons.
