After months of back-and-forth with councils, negotiations over field allocations, and countless hours of behind-the-scenes work, the wait is finally over. The INDOLEAGUE 2025 season will officially kick off on Sunday, 5 October 2025 at Strathfield Park Synthetic.
This is a huge step forward for the competition. At first, the council only allocated Saturdays, which caused real concern for our clubs and players who have long pushed for Sunday football. But after weeks of persistence, countless discussions, and presenting our case for why Sundays matter to the community, we finally achieved what we’ve been fighting for: Sundays are now locked in as our match days.
Securing grounds in Sydney is never easy. Every community competition knows the struggle of chasing limited space. That’s why this outcome means so much. It’s not just a scheduling change, it’s a milestone that reflects the growth and credibility of INDOLEAGUE. Thanks to the trust built with the local council and the determination of the organising team, Strathfield Park Synthetic will once again be our ground for the new season.
Sunday football means stability. It means families, supporters, and players can plan their weekends knowing INDOLEAGUE will always be there. It gives the league the proper football culture it deserves, with consistent scheduling and a professional venue worthy of the competition.
With the venue confirmed and the season dates set, the next step begins: Club Registrations will open soon. Only clubs that have submitted an Expression of Interest will be eligible, and the formal registration process will be announced in the coming days. This is the moment for clubs to finalise their squads, confirm their officials, and prepare for what promises to be the most competitive season yet.
The story of INDOLEAGUE has always been about building something together; clubs, players, supporters, and organisers all playing their part. Securing Sundays at Strathfield Park Synthetic is not just an administrative win; it’s a reflection of the commitment, resilience, and passion of our football community.
As we look ahead to 5 October, excitement is building. The draw, club announcements, and fixtures will follow shortly. For now, mark the date, rally your supporters, and get ready. INDOLEAGUE 2025 is here.
