INDOLEAGUE 2024 – Round 2 Review

Round 2 of INDOLEAGUE 2024 saw intense battles unfold at Strathfield Park, where teams continued their quest for glory. With high stakes and fierce competition, each match delivered excitement, goals, and thrilling performances. Here’s a recap of the weekend’s results and key moments:


IQRO FC 2 – 0 PS Kota Sydney

The defending champions, IQRO FC, demonstrated why they remain one of the favorites to win the title with a convincing 2-0 victory over PS Kota Sydney. Minang Saiyo Tigers FC continued their dominant form with a commanding 3-0 win over PAFC. N. Ravel was once again the star of the show, scoring two crucial goals in the 34th and 45th minutes, giving Minang Saiyo a solid lead at halftime. The Tigers extended their lead shortly after the break when S. Sampow found the net in the 47th minute. Minang Saiyo Tigers have now positioned themselves as one of the top teams to watch this season, with their attacking prowess and solid defense.


Surau FC 6 – 1 Mutiara Dewata FC

Yusuf in the 7th minute, Surau FC quickly turned the game around. N. Ghazli equalized in the 19th minute and added a second goal in the 36th minute. H. Ridwan and Z. Azril then extended the lead with strikes in the 27th and 42nd minutes. In the second half, Z. Nurmohamed joined the scoresheet with a goal in the 67th minute, and Z. Azril wrapped up the dominant performance with his second goal in the 73rd minute. Surau FC’s attacking firepower was too much for Mutiara Dewata to handle.


Nusantara United FC 4 – 2 Al-Aceh FC

Nusantara United FC secured their first win of the season with a thrilling 4-2 victory over Al-Aceh FC. The match was closely contested in the first half, with Z. Mohammed opening the scoring for Nusantara United in the 29th minute, only for M. Alaydrus to equalize for Al-Aceh FC two minutes later. The second half saw Nusantara United take control, with Z. Mohammed grabbing his second goal in the 67th minute. I. Irfaan and Y. Mohammed added two more goals in the 74th and 79th minutes, sealing the win. Despite a goal from M. Fadhil in the 49th minute, Al-Aceh FC couldn’t keep up with Nusantara’s relentless attack.
